Search is on for Next Gay Top Model

Emanuel Sandhu

Vancouver’s Next Gay Top Model is a theatrical event organized by the local community with the support of organizations and businesses to benefit the charity Friends for Life.

Loosely based on the popular television hit, the event will bring together participants to a live-show at the Celebrities Nightclub on Thursday, March 6.

The audience will be able to participate by voting for the model contestants on stage and choose the TOP 3. Special guests and local celebrities will vote to choose the winner.
Sex and sexuality aside, local performers have joined the team of VNGTM to lend their support and talent for the gala event.

“VNGTM is the event in everyone’s lips these days and all performers expect this night to be the most fun Vancouver has seen in awhile,” says producer Terry Costa.

“We are proud to present on stage great Vancouver talent and welcome Emanuel Sandhu to a roster of performers that include Armstrong Jr., Dianna David, Jerome Mandrake, Suzka and the Queen of Samba Dancers.

“I’m participating because it’s an opportunity for me to perform my new single for a great local charity that I strongly support” says Sandhu, a figure skating superstar.

“I’m currently in the final production on two further singles that I recorded in Los Angeles, one of which is a beautiful ballad and the other which will make everyone shake their asses!” Sandhu will be the closing act of the evening with a steamy performance of his debut single Burn Up the Floor.

“Sandhu is sexy, passionate, one-of-a-kind and phenomenal. No single word can describe this person born to be a star,” adds Costa.   Known the world over as a figure skating legend, Emanuel is a Three-Time Canadian National Figure Skating Champion, Grand Prix Champion and Two-Time Olympian to name but a few of  his achievements.

Tickets are now available at Little Sisters Bookstore and celebritiesnightclub.com website. The contest process is being filmed for an OUT TV television series, How Far Will You Go, and an independent documentary film titled TOP12.
