A career among the clouds
British Columbia is one of the best places for flight training with its spectacular scenery and diverse weather conditions (long days and sunny in the summer, and rainy with the occasional snow in the winter).
Many Canada-trained pilots become successful professional pilots that fly for major commercial airlines.
Sea Land Air Flight Centre is a new generation flight school that provides one-stop aviation services from flight training, aircraft rental to fractional programs and aircraft sales.
SLA is among the first to offer flight training in modern aircraft with advanced avionics. SLA, a division of The Fairchild Group recently hosted the “Wings & Wheels” open house event at Boundary Bay Airport during its grand opening which featured B.C.’s first debut of the Diamond D-Jet mock-up and a showcase of motorcycles from Trev Deeley, exotic cars from Audi of Richmond, Land Rover of Richmond, and Jaguar of Richmond.

SLA trains in new aircraft such as the DA-20 C1 Eclipse that is equipped with advanced avionics and navigation systems.
The SLA flight instructors have extensive international training experience and have great connections with flight schools in China, Thailand and England.

SLA’s Private Pilot ground school conforms to Transport Canada’s licensing requirements and is run continually throughout the year. Its classroom is equipped with state-of-the-art computer and sound system plus an overhead projector for quality presentation of class materials. SLA Flight Centre is conveniently located in Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB), B.C., Canada, just minutes away from Vancouver International Airport.
The new DA20s and SportStars in its fleet are also available for rental. The DA20-C1 is a 2-seater, high performance aircraft that cruises at 138 ktas. It delivers a superior flight experience with its state-of-the-art Garmin 430 avionics system and luxurious, premium tan leather interior.
