Affordable & compact - the 2006 Hyundai Tucson SUV
Korea's Hyundai Motor Company is on a roll with an ever, well engineered and value for money range of award winning vehicles. Not content with resting on its laurels, Hyundai has now released an all new 2005 compact SUV called the Tucson.
The Tucson's styling is harmonized by a svelte curvaceous body, sleek looking front fascia, hood line and a neat elegant rear. Add decent fuel economy, interior room and a great warrantee and it should be on your shopping list if a small SUV is needed in your life.
GREAT EQUIPMENT LEVELS
The Tucson has an excellent range of standard features with niceties such as air conditioning and full equipment including electric windows, power steering and brakes. On the safety front; four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, traction control, stability control system and front airbags aid. Also standard on all Tucson's is Hyundai's 5 year/100,000-mile warranty.
A unique split folding rear seat means you can create a flat cargo floor and doesn't even require removal of the head restraints.It has an economical 2.0 litre, inline four cylinder engine or a slightly less fuel thrifty, but more powerful 2.7 litre V6 engine.

ON FOUR WHEELS
The Tucson interior is a very nice place to be in with firm supportive seats and a variety of textures on the dash and doors to create an interesting ambience. The controls and instruments panel is well laid out with a very efficient heating and ventilation system. The rear cabin is equally comfortable with good hip and leg room for passengers. Rear cargo room is generous.
The Tucson has great feeling of poise and stability on the road. Good low speed manners and ease of parking mean it's a practical everyday vehicle. Official fuel consumption is around the 12.3L/100 km (City) and 8.8L/100km on the highway. The Tucson will surely provide formidable competition in its class.
