Darpan Magazine hails heroes of the South Asian community

Darpan or mirror is a magazine that reflects the South Asian community in B.C
And that’s what the people behind the mag did when they held their first ever Darpan Red Carpet Gala at the Bollywood Banquet Hall Surrey last week.
Publishers Ramneek Dhillon and Gurvinder Hundal, entertained more than 500 guests to a lavish and action packed evening with a fashion show by Bollywood Se
Also in attendance was Gurbaksh Singh Chahal an American entrepreneur and author. Chahal by the age of 25, had founded two advertising companies worth $340 million, and more recently appeared on several TV shows and published a memoir.
“The Gala was a showcase event that brought our company's future vision into light. It recognized the efforts of the people within the community who have excelled and have achieved extraordinary heights,” said Ramneek Dhillon
Co-publisher Gurvinder Hundal added: “with the support and love of the community you will see Darpan going national fairly soon.”
The two young publishers are the moving force behind the six year old magazine.
Published bi-monthly and jammed with a mix of articles on culture and food, business and politics, fashion and design, parenting and travel, Darpan’s unique and powerful design reaches thousands of South Asians.
