Surrey Night Market ready for new season

The Surrey Night Market still take place, despite last year’s storm. Surrey Night Market 2016 will run on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 11 pm and on Sundays from 5 – 10 pm at the Cloverdale Exhibition Grounds. Parking is free.
“The overwhelming support and good wishes offered by the community after last year’s monstrous storm has doubled our resolve to return for a third season starting June 3, 2016 to August 14, 2016,” said Satbir Cheema, Director, Surrey Night Market.
There will be rides and games for children; door prizes for attendees and performances by magicians, local bands, singers and dancers. There will also be a few tents set aside for non-profit organizations and charities, 
which have the option of setting up a beer garden to raise funds for their causes.
During the third season, the following patrons can go to the market for free:
• Families of all Canadian Forces personnel and Veterans
• Children less than 48" in height when accompanied by their families
• Residents of long-term care and assisted living facilities when coming as a group
• Wheelchair borne persons and their attendants
• Seniors over 65 years with proper ID
Anyone who brings a non-perishable food item or a new toy will have free access. All collected items will be donated to the local food banks or charities.
