Go Dodge Surrey is all-in for its customers

Working in auto sales requires a detailed understanding of modern vehicles, technology, financing, and of course the fine art of communication.

But for Jeff Velarde, a sales rep at Go Dodge Surrey, the most essential skill is the ability to perceive the buying process from the customer’s point of view. For Velarde, who works closely with many Filipino clients, caring for the needs of the customer above all else, is what sets Go Dodge apart from its rivals.

The dealership is part of the Go Auto group which has 40 dealerships across Canada, including two in Vancouver. Like its sister dealerships, Go Dodge Surrey puts the customer first by not charging fees for documents and by compensating sales staff via a fixed commission system that is independent of the number of cars they sell.

“It’s a family oriented dealership,” smiled Velarde. “Everyone is very friendly, this is what Go Dodge stands for.”

Go Dodge also gives away additional perks including lifetime engine warranty and Go Card rewards for its customers.

Velarde, 28, has been working with the dealership for just over a year and said the dealership has cashback offers to make the cars affordable. “Our dealership works with lot of people who have bad credit, low credit or people who are new to the country. One big thing we do is cashbacks to pay up debts,” said Velarde, who added that dealership also donates $500 to a local church for every car they sell.

The dealership, which hosts various special events to connect with communities in Surrey, is planning an event for the Filipino community in the near future.

Go Dodge Surrey mainly deals with Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Fiat although they have other brands on their lot including Nissan, Kia, Hyundai and Honda.
