6. VIDF performance: Kokoro Dance’s L.S.D., an investigation for 6 female dancers on the themes of love, sex and death evolving out of movement language based in Japanese butoh. L.S.D. is a free performance event playing March 12-13, 2010 at the Roundhouse Community Centre as part of the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad celebrations.
7. What is the highlight of your performance? This will be my first time “gracing” the stage in a tulle skirt, and this classical, artistic norm will have its dark counterpoise as the dance gives attention to the honouring of death in our search for our physical and emotional souls in love and sex.
