Have you exhausted all your Netflix options? Don’t fret. We got you.

On February 24th, HUB Cycling will host its 9th Annual Bike Awards ceremony to celebrate organizations and individuals that are making biking better across Metro Vancouver, and you’re invited!

Join us on Zoom on February 24 from 7 - 8:30 PM to watch the award winners announced live! Hear heartwarming stories of how community members from Langley to government officials in Victoria worked to make cycling safer and more accessible in 2021. Celebrate with emcee Uytae Lee, one of Metro Vancouver’s most well-known video journalists and founder of About Here, a YouTube channel dedicated to making videos that engage the public on urban planning issues in Vancouver. Tune in to find out what elected officials across the region, from cabinet ministers to mayors and school trustees, are sharing about cycling in their communities.

Some of the award categories include Infrastructure Improvement Award, Cycling Education Champion, the People’s Choice Award, and the honourable Arno Schortinghuis Cycling Champion of the Year Award.

This online event is free for everyone to attend but you must register in advance at bikehub.ca/BikeAwards. Register and comment in the Zoom chat during the ceremony to be entered to win door prizes from Book Warehouse, Ryders Eyewear, TransLink, and Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Clinic!
