On June 14, Ashton College will host, “Immigration 101- Essential Strategies for Securing Work Permits and Assisting Foreign Workers with Permanent Residence in Canada.”
The seminar will be led by Mark Holthe, a lawyer who practices exclusively in the area of Canadian Citizenship and Immigration Law. Mark focuses on providing pro-active solutions to employers with the unique challenges they currently face in recruiting and retaining foreign workers. Mark assists employers in preparing for employer compliance reviews and helping them develop internal policies and practices to ensure full compliance. Mark is well positioned to offer strategic advice to employers in a wide variety of immigration related needs.
The seminar will take place in Calgary, Alberta but is offered in a live-online format. Holthe will cover topics including how to avoid LMOs by utilizing NAFTA, dealing with Service Canada, and criminal and medical inadmissibility.
